Infants (6 weeks to 15 months)

Triple R Child Care can start caring for your newborn as early as six weeks of age.  We have two infant nurseries, which provide a safe, nurturing environment for children up to the age of 15 months.   Nursery 1 provides care for children up to the age of 8 months, and Nursery 2 continues from 8 to 15 months of age.  Our experienced, caring staff will stimulate your baby's emotional, physical and cognitive development.

Toddlers (15 months to 2 years)

Triple R Child Care also features two toddler rooms, for ages 16-20 months, and 20-24 months. Just like our infant rooms, this allows us to focus on a more specific age range of these young, rapidly developing children.  Some of the concepts taught in the toddler room: Body Parts, Manners, Social Skills, Colors, Counting 1-10, Shapes, Nursery Rhymes, Feeding Skills, Vocabulary, Sorting, Fine Motor, Large Motor, and Toilet Training.  Children in the toddler program also enjoy outdoor activities on our Toddler playground.

Twos & Threes

We also have two rooms for the soon-to-be preschoolers. In these rooms, the toddler curriculum is expanded, and the children are introduced to preschool themes and concepts. They participate in morning circle time, and learn the following concepts: Counting 1-20, expand their knowledge of colors and shapes, Simple Tracing, Positions in Space, Birthdays, Name Recognition & Spelling, Manners and Social Skills, Body Parts, Toilet Training, Holding Pencils/Crayons Correctly, Attention Span, Vocabulary, Large Motor and Fine Motor Skills.

Threes & Fours

When the children reach three years of age, and are potty-trained, they're ready to move into our preschool-age program. Triple R includes preschool in our full-day childcare program every morning from 8:30 to 11:30am. See our full Preschool Curriculum

Pre-Kindergarten (Fours & Fives)

In our Four and Five year-old classrooms, our focus is on getting the children socially and academically prepared for Kindergarten, so they can hit the ground running when they begin. See our full Preschool Curriculum

Kindergarten

Triple R Child Care provides full-day kindergarten from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm every day. We also offer extended care for kindergarten students before and after the kindergarten hours, if needed.

All material in the Triple R Kindergarten program meets and exceeds the Illinois Learning Standards for Kindergartens.  Click here for more information about our Kindergarten program.

First Grade

Triple R Child Care also offers first grade from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm every day.

All material in the Triple R First Grade program meets and exceeds the Illinois Learning Standards. Below is a short summary of our First Grade curriculum, including the resources we use to teach the material.  See our full First Grade Curriculum (Adobe Reader required)

School Age

In addition to caring for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, we also provide quality care for school age children (kindergarten to 12 years). We have before and after school programs, and also transport children to and from area public schools (See the current list in the sidebar).

Unlike many after-school programs, ours is more than just a place for your kids to hang out after school. We provide homework help, art activities, games, computers, and outdoor recreation, in a safe, supervised classroom.

In the summer, when children are not enrolled in public schools, we have a summer program, with fun and educational field trips, as well as scheduled activities here at the school.
